Rachelle Beale

Rachelle Beale is a Registered Patent Attorney (New Zealand) and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys (NZIPA). Rachelle joined Henry Hughes in 2001 and has a background in science and commerce. She specializes in patents, particularly in the areas of Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals.

Rachelle graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 1998 with a degree in Science, majoring in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Genetics & Molecular Biology, and a degree in Commerce, majoring in Management. Rachelle also completed a Graduate Certificate in Law at Victoria University of Wellington in 2008.

Prior to joining Henry Hughes in 2001, Rachelle’s experience included working for a global pharmaceutical company. Rachelle has also had experience working in the financial sector. Rachelle works with Henry Hughes principals and other professionals providing advice to clients and obtaining patents for their inventions.
