Russell Law

Russell Law is a Registered Patent Attorney (New Zealand) and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys (NZIPA). Russell joined Henry Hughes in 2009 after 16 years at another leading New Zealand based Intellectual Property firm.

Russell graduated from the University of Otago with degrees in commerce and law.

Russell works with Henry Hughes principals and other professionals providing advice to New Zealand and international clients across a broad range of industries. He assists clients to obtain the best protection for their trade marks in New Zealand and overseas.

Russell advises on trade mark availability and registration, prosecutes domestic and international trade mark applications, and advises on opposition and non-use actions.

Russell is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association. Russell has been involved in the Rotary organisation for 28 years, and is a Past President of the Karori Rotary Club.
