David Nowak

David graduated from the University of Auckland in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biological Sciences, and in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws. Prior to joining Henry Hughes in 2009, David worked from 2006 as first a Patent Examiner and then a Senior Patent Examiner in both the chemical and biotechnology fields at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand.

David works with principals and other professional staff drafting, filing and prosecuting patents, particularly in the pharmaceutical, agricultural and biotechnology fields and has particular experience with naturally derived medicinal, cosmetic and veterinary products.

David is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys.
